Dr. Mary Ann King, DO, is a pediatrician practicing in our Amory office. She joined P&S in 2010.

Since her childhood with a chronically ill sibling, Dr. King has been determined to be a doctor.

“I always wanted to do more for him, so I thought if I were a doctor, I could do that.”

Dr. King almost immediately fell in love with pediatrics. She enjoys the continuity of care, watching her patients grow and seeing what they become as adults.

“The thing about my specialty that I love is I can see a newborn and eventually see them graduate and one day start their own family. I have had the pleasure of treating lots of my patients from birth and then starting over by taking care of their children.”

Well-known for taking time to listen to her patients and families, Dr. King’s patients leave feeling like they have been heard and genuinely cared for. She wants her patients to know that she will treat their children like her own and that their time and opinion are important.

Dr. King has a special interest in ADHD, behavior/sensory issues, and acid reflux. She also particularly enjoys seeing newborns and children with special needs.

When not at home with her husband, Matt, and her children, Dr. King is active in her church choir. She is a band mom, so you can often find her at band competitions and football games. But if she had her pick, Dr. King would spend all her free time at Disney World.

She also makes sure you get the best care possible too. They answer your messages about your sick kid pretty fast too when you leave a voice mail with a nurse.
